About Cassidy Church
Cassidy Church is a growing, multi-generational community of about 250 people in the Ozark/Nixa area. We are passionate about helping people be more like Jesus and serving our neighbors through creative outreach like Project 734, Care to Learn, and PB&J Sunday. Our youth ministry is at the heart of this mission — shaping the next generation to live out their faith with boldness, joy, and love.
Cassidy Youth currently serves 25–30 students weekly, with larger summer events drawing 30–40. We are looking for a leader who will build on this strong foundation, guide students into a deeper relationship with Jesus, and grow the reach of the ministry in our church and community.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and creative Director of Youth Ministry to disciple students (grades 5–12), equip volunteers, and connect families into the life of the church. This role isn’t just about running programs — it’s about building relationships, investing in students inside and outside the church, and creating experiences that spark faith and leadership in the next generation.
You’ll get to:
Shape engaging weekly youth experiences with relevant lessons, games, and worship.
Show up where students are — at school events, games, and community activities.’
Lead and mentor our Student Leadership Team (SOS) to grow servant leaders.
Build, equip, and encourage a team of passionate volunteers.
Plan memorable events like Ultimate Wednesdays, lock-ins, and summer trips.
Partner with parents to support their role as primary spiritual leaders.
Connect with local schools and ministries to expand Cassidy’s impact.
What We’re Looking For
A committed follower of Jesus with a heart for students and families.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (or equivalent ministry experience).
3+ years of youth ministry or teaching/mentoring experience preferred.
A self-starter with creativity, energy, and organizational skills.
Someone who listens well, handles conflict with grace, and values teamwork.
Comfortable (or willing to learn) with tools like Canva, social media, Google Suite, and ProPresenter.
Strong communicator who can teach, inspire, and connect with teens.
Bonus points: You dominate at 9-Square.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Love Jesus and naturally point others to Him.
Thrive in creating meaningful, fun, and faith-filled experiences for teens.
Balance vision and detail — dreaming big while executing well.
Enjoy mentoring young adults and developing future leaders.
Value both Sunday mornings and sideline ministry (being present in students’ everyday lives).
