When a month has five Sunday’s we get a little crazy here at Cassidy Church. We celebrate by being extra generous with our time and gifts.

PB&J Sunday — Share a Sandwich, Share God’s Love

What if 15 minutes could feed 200 people?

That’s what happens on PB&J Sunday at Cassidy. Between services, we gather to make sack lunches for our neighbors in need—no prep required, just willing hands and open hearts.

Each lunch includes:

  • A peanut butter and jelly sandwich

  • A bottle of water

  • A snack or two

These go directly to The Connecting Grounds and Rare Breed, where they’re handed out to folks facing hunger and uncertainty.

This isn’t just about food. It’s about compassion in action. A simple sandwich becomes a sign that someone cares.

Fifth Sundays at Cassidy Church means it’s time for Your Buck Starts Here.

Here’s how it works:
We ask everyone to give one extra dollar above your regular offering.

Just $1.

That extra dollar doesn’t stay at Cassidy. It goes straight into our community to meet real needs and bless real people.

Because of YBSH, we’ve:

  • Paid off school lunch debt

  • Donated to local food pantries

  • Helped families with groceries

  • Responded to unexpected needs

When we each give a little, together we make a big impact.

So bring your extra dollar and be a part of the story. Invite someone to do the same. Let’s remind our neighbors that God sees them, and so do we.
