Springfield Cardinals Ticket Info

SPRINGFIELD CARDINALS GAME INFO: for those that signed up to attend the Springfield Cardinals game on Friday, August 15 @ 6:35 pm- Pastor Suzanne and Jana will be at the main gate at 5:30 pm to give out your reserved seat tickets. Gates open at 5:35. Following the game, Christian music star Austin French will perform along with a fireworks show. Some info about the baseball stadium:

•Parking just south of the stadium is $10 (cash or card). Parking at Pricecutter is $5 and is donated to charity.

•The stadium is cashless. They only accept credit cards, debit cards and Cardinal gift cards for concessions or at the gift shop.

•They prefer clear bags. Any other bag may be no bigger than 9” X 5”, with the exception of a diaper bag accompanying a baby. All bags will be searched at the entrances.

Cassidy Women - Tuesdsay, Aug. 12 at 1:00 pm. All ladies are invited. They will be celebrating all birthdays with cake and ice cream.

Young Adult Group

The Young Adult Group(18-30) will meet at the Biedenbenders on Monday Aug. 11 at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be provided. Contact the office if you need the address.

Choir is Returning

Anyone interested in joining the Cassidy Choir should come to the informational meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 6:00 pm. Emily Estes-Bailey will be leading the choir and sharing information about practices and performances.

Next Steps Classes

If you have been attending Cassidy for a while and wonder what your next steps could be to become more active in the church, please consider attending our Next Steps classes on Sunday Aug. 17 & 24 at 4:00 pm. These classes will give you more information about the church, the pastors and all the opportunities available. Sign up on the tear-off if you are interested.

Grief Share

The next GriefShare support group begins on Wednesday, August 20 at 10:00 am. They meet each Wednesday for 12 weeks This support group will provide help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. Janice Rector, who is a member of Cassidy and works with Cox at Home Hospice, leads the group. They meet in Classroom A. All are welcome.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Sunday

PB & J Sunday is almost here again. On Sunday, August 31, we will need volunteers to pack sack lunches for the homeless in Springfield. We pack 200 lunches at 10:00 am, between the services. Funds for the lunch supplies are appreciated. They consist of a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, chips, fruit cup, dessert bar and bottle of water.

Christian County Cares Bingo

Christian County Cares will host a bingo party at the church on Saturday, August 16 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The bingo is free to play. A hot dog meal is available for $5 and there will be a silent auction. This will be a fundraiser for the organization which provides help and support to families in Christian County. Doors open at 5:00 and bingo starts at 6:00 pm.
