This year’s theme is Christmas Cookies (Christmas in July). The dates are July 20-24 from 6:00-8:00 each evening. A light dinner will be served at 5:30. Invite your friends and neighbors to join us as we learn about how God brought everything together perfectly with the birth of Jesus. Family night will be Friday the 24th (just like Christmas Eve!)

VBS Workdays

If you would like to help with preparing decorations and other items for VBS, we have some dates and times you would be welcome to come. Workday is Wednesday, July 15 from 4:00-6:00 pm. Volunteers will also be need on Saturday, July 18 from 9:00-11:00 am to decorate the church for VBS.

Cassidy Women - will have their monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 14 at 1:00 pm. They will be packing Christmas in July goodie bags for some of our shut-ins.

Wedding Shower - UPDATE

We have revised the wedding shower for Jacob & Daisee Biedenbender. This will be held BETWEEN services on July 19 at 10:00 am. As the couple has been setteling in to their new life, they realized they have most of the things they need. They are now focusing on saving for a ‘fixer upper’ home. To help with this goal, we thought Wal Mart or Target gift cards would be appropriate gifts. That way they can get essentials they need and save more for their future home.

C-SALT (Cassidy Senior Adult Living Testimony 55+)

On July 28, Doc Linn will be speaking on his recent trip to Turkey. Armed with slides and great stories, this is one gathering you and your friends won’t want to miss! Join us on the 4th Tuesday at 1:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Light snacks will be served. Let us know on the tear off if you plan to attend.

FREE Springfield Cardinal Tickets

The Missouri Methodist Southwest District is providing FREE Springfield Cardinal tickets to the Friday, August 14 game. The game starts at 7:05 and tickets are on the 3rd base side so it will be shaded. Following the game will be fireworks and a concert by Christian pop artist Riley Clemmons.
